Ahead of its official launch for the Philippine market, a Chery Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid with unique decals is roaming around the streets of Metro Manila. This particular Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid won’t be doing any road tests. Instead, it is linked to Chery Auto Philippines’ “Spot That Tiggo Hybrid” raffle contest.
Cool prizes are waiting for keen car spotters
Joining the contest is easy. All one needs to do is post a picture or video of the custom Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid and post it on one’s preferred social media pages. The said post must have the @cheryautophilippines tag and must contain these hashtags: #CHERYT5XProHybridSpotted, #HaveYouSeenThisTiggo5XPRO.
Next, take a screenshot of the post then submit it to this link. Each screenshot will correspond to one raffle entry. Multiple raffle entries can be sent under the same name as long as the pictures or videos were taken from different areas around the metro.
To make it easier for would-be spotters, Chery PH has shared where the special Tiggo 5X will be heading to.
- July 19 and July 23: Ortigas Center & Metrowalk
- July 20 and July 25: Commonwealth & Fairview
- July 21: Alabang
- July 22: Eastwood City
- July 24: Bonifacio Global City & Makati
The deadline for the submission of picture and video entries is set on July 26, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. The raffle draw is then scheduled on August 1, 2023, and will be witnessed by a representative from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Winners will be chosen via a virtual picker.

For the uninitiated, the Chery Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid is a five-seater crossover. It gets a premium-looking exterior and interior, and it uses a combustion engine paired with a belt start generator (BSG) and a 48-volt battery.
The 2024 Chery Tiggo 5X Pro Hybrid
Chery PH has yet to release the full specs of the Tiggo 5X Pro’s hybrid powertrain. But, the car brand said that the hybrid powertrain can reduce the vehicle’s carbon emissions by 14 percent. Chery PH added that it yields better fuel efficiency by up to 13 percent.
The car brand also didn’t share when this new model will launch, but it did hint that those looking forward to it won’t have to wait for too long.
