The brand’s distributor shares that more entry-level car owners are switching to Brembo.

While Brembo is already a world-famous brake brand amongst car modders, car enthusiasts, and racers, it has been starting to make a big impact on the mass consumer side of the Philippine automotive market.

Brembo brakes started out on high-performance cars

Specifically, the brand shared that it has contributed to leveling up and redefining of performance and safety in the industry. This is thanks to its 60-year history, as well as its partnership and the local distributorship of BGS Junrose Corporation.

Throughout its history though, Brembo first focused on performance by starting out with developing disc brake conversion kits for kit cars in 1961. Later on, the Italian brake manufacturer moved to making motorcycle brakes.

It wasn’t until 1975 that Brembo moved on to four-wheeled cars. It did so in a big way, by providing stopper power for Ferrari’s Formula 1 cars at the request of Enzo Ferrari himself. Later onwards in the 1980s, the brand supplied its products to Porsche and other brands.

Now, Brembo has since conquered the brake market in Europe, North America, and Asia. The brand has since become a top choice for brake disc and pad replacements in the Philippines.

Now, BGS Junrose is moving forward to help bring the best braking technologies from Brembo to the local market. This now applies to high-end performance cars like in the brake brand’s past and standard passenger cars.

In the present, the company now caters even to entry-level car owners

“Our customers are constantly exploring for the best possible options. Surprisingly, in the past few months, several owners of entry-level vehicles are considering Brembo products,” said BSB Junrose Corporation President Ian Bangayan.

“Truly, the brand is not exclusive to just high-end cars. We believe that every car deserves a Brembo,” Bangayan added.
