Ayala Group’s mobility division, ACMobility, has opened two electric vehicle (EV) charging stations located within the Basement 1 parking area of Ayala Center Cebu.

According to the company, these two stations are AC-type EV chargers with an output rating of 22kW. They are likewise compatible with EVs that use Combined Charging System Combo 2 (CCS2) or GB/T standard charging connectors.
These two EV stations are a first for ACMobility within Cebu, thus complementing the newly established BYD Cebu dealership. For those unaware, ACMobility is the authorized importer and distributor of BYD vehicles for the local market. BYD in turn, offers fully electric models like the Atto 3 compact crossover EV, the Dolphin hatchback EV, and the Han luxury full-size sedan EV.
So with the opening of these new EV charging stations, Cebuanos now has access to the growing BYD Cars PH EV network. As of last April, the company already has a total of 48 charging stations in 23 locations nationwide.

As a reminder for would-be EV buyers, the BYD Cebu dealership is located at AS Fortuno Street, Banila, Mandaue City. Its six-car showroom is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, while its service department with its seven car bays is open to clients from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Going back to the new EV charging stations in Ayala Center Cebu, these will be free to use for EV owners for the whole month of May 2024. Their availability of course follows the Ayala Center Cebu mall hours of 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
