BYD Cars PH inaugurates latest dealership in Cebu

BYD Cars Philippines has inaugurated its new dealership in Cebu.

This new BYD outlet in the Queen City of the South is owned and operated by Global Star Motors Corporation under the umbrella of Ayala Corporation’s ACMobility, the official distributor of BYD cars in the local market. 

According to BYD Cars PH, this new BYD Cebu dealership features a total floor area of 2,155 square meters. Its showroom alone spans 354 sqm allowing it to accommodate up to six vehicles at the same time. This is paired with the dealership’s BYD Global Brand Identity standards which ensures a comfortable car-buying experience for clients. 

On that note, BYD Cebu gets a dedicated service reception area, a comfortable customer lounge, as well as a bay designed for new car releases. The new dealership also features a total of seven service bays that can address the maintenance needs of fully electric cars like the BYD Atto 3. On top of all those, the outlet also has a section for car accessories. 

In the near future, the newly opened BYD Cebu will also become an ACMobility charging location. This means that it will be getting AC and DC charging ports compatible with BYD vehicles and other EV models from other brands. 

“BYD’s rapid expansion in the country provides more Filipinos with access to its technologically superior, efficient, and ultra-safe line-up of battery electric vehicles,” said ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala.

The ACMobility CEO likewise welcomed the Global Star Motors Corporation to the BYD dealership network. 

ACMobility Head of Automotive Retail and Distribution Antonio “Toti” Zara III also remarked that the opening of BYD Cebu signals the start of EV adoption in the Visayas region. 

“The rapidly growing BYD dealership network in the country reflects the public’s growing demand for the new age of sustainable mobility. BYD Cebu is our fourth active dealership, and by the end of the year, we will have 20 BYD dealerships in key cities nationwide,” Zara said. 

For those who want to visit the BYD Cebu, note that it is located at AS Fortuna Street, Banilad, Mandaue City. Its showroom is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. 

BYD Cars’ service department meanwhile, is open to clients from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the weekends.
