Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is bringing back the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup for the 2023 season.
Toyota Vios Cup is returning for the 2023 season
The TGR Vios Cup is a one-make-race (OMR) where drivers are put behind the wheel of a track-ready Toyota Vios. It will feature seasoned and upcoming racers in the Super Sporting, Sporting, and Promotional classes at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.
To ensure the participants are ready to hit the track, TMP will conduct racing classes through the TGR Academy. With it, spectators can expect to see “heart-pumping excitement of racing.”
The participants will try to race their way up to the podium in an OMR Vios fitted with a 1.5-liter engine good for 106 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque. It is equipped with mods such as a sports clutch, a set of beefier brakes, a performance intake system, and a performance suspension set.
Meanwhile, celebrities and media personalities will be participating in the Autocross Challenge. We at Philkotse will also be at the track to compete and cover the race event.
