The 2023 Nissan Almera facelift has officially made its ASEAN debut in Thailand.
2023 Nissan Almera
Following its U.S. debut last October 2022, the new Almera comes with a refreshed styling that gives the subcompact sedan a more modern appearance. It is also equipped with new onboard technologies, which are said to “fulfill new generation lifestyle.”
But first, let’s talk about the exterior, particularly the front fascia. The facelifted version arrives with the next-generation V-Motion grille, which appears bolder and more pronounced. This is designed to flow throughout the roof, the side, and the rear, giving the sedan its distinctive look.
The facelifted sedan made its ASEAN debut
While the side and rear look similar to the outgoing model, the new Almera is made available with a new exterior color called Gray Sky Pearl. Nissan Thailand said that the color shifts at different times of the day and from different angles people look at the car.
As for the onboard tech, the Almera is introduced with the NissanConnect Services, allowing owners to remotely control and monitor the vehicle using their smartphones. It is also added with new amenities such as a wireless charger, cruise control, and an intelligent key.
The cabin gets sporty blue color accents
Powering the vehicle is the same 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, making 98 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The engine sends power to the front wheels via an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
Nissan Thailand is offering the new Almera in four variants. You can check out the pricing in the list below:
- Almera E - 549,000 Baht (or around Php 904,143)

“The new Almera is part of our intention to make our customers’ journey more exciting and memorable, to thank them for their support, to make our customers more confident in us, to make them say, ‘YES! Nissan,” said Isao Sekiguchi, President of Nissan Motor Thailand and President of Nissan ASEAN.
It comes out bolder than ever
Considering that Nissan Philippines sources the subcompact sedan model from Thailand, it could only be a matter of time before we see the facelifted Almera on our roads.
