It is a fixed service package plan that can cover up to three years.

Car maintenance can be a pain for those new to owning a vehicle. It may also be costly and can be a hassle to keep track of.  To address those issues, Nissan Philippines launched the Service Protection Plan (NSPP) to offer an easier and more convenient way to keep one’s car in tip-top shape.

With regards to how it works, the NSPP offers fixed service packages. These come in three tiers, each with progressively longer coverage periods. The red tier covers one year, gold covers two years, and platinum covers three years.

Each of the tiers then comes with a pre-set number of periodic maintenance service (PMS) sessions. These PMS credits can be available at any time from when the vehicle was purchased as long as it is scheduled within the plan’s duration coverage. Each PMS served under NSPP likewise comes with a 12 percent discount ensuring value for money for a car owner.

Note however that this new service program is not available for all Nissan vehicles. Specifically, it is offered to owners of the Nissan Almera, Navara, Terra, Patrol, Kicks e-POWER, and Livina. This leaves out the GT-R, 370Z, and the Urvan.

For the benefit of our readers, here are the details of the NSPP’s three different tiers:
