The reworked BMW 2 Series range follows the launching of the next-gen iteration last April 2022. In the outgoing model, the power unit was making 184 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque with its 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower inline-4 engine. Now, let’s see what the two new variants bring to the table.

Starting with the German sports car’s new base model, the 218i Coupe M Sport. Under the hood is still the same 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower mill but has been tuned to now generate 156 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It sends power exclusively to the rear wheels via an 8-speed Speedtronic automatic transmission.
