The 2023 Jeep Renegade is a subcompact crossover that is regarded as the smallest in the local lineup. It is available in two variants, namely the Longitude priced at Php 1,490,000 and the Limited priced at Php 1,640,000. Powering the vehicle is a 1.4-liter Tjet turbo engine with ESS capable of generating 147 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is paired with the engine.
Dimensions-wise, the Renegade is 4,232 mm long, 1,885 mm wide, and 1,689 mm tall. Locally, the American subcompact crossover competes against the likes of the Honda HR-V, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Kona.
Launch
The Jeep Renegade was first unveiled in the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Jeep started producing this off-road vehicle believed to replace the Jeep Patriot and the Jeep Compass. It was offered in a four-wheel-drive system with Active Drive 1 and Active Drive Low matched with their Select Train System.
In 2019, it received a refreshing update on its exterior and interior. In May 2020, the new Jeep Renegade was launched in the Philippines.

This premium offroader measures 4,232mm long, 1,804mm wide, and 1,684mm tall. Its front features the iconic seven-slot grille with chrome highlights depending on the variant, a pair of round LED headlights designed with LED rings, and LED fog lamps. Below, a wide air intake vent efficiently assists the engine’s cooling system.
Jeep Renegade's body is designed with the right curves and lines that aid its aerodynamic capabilities. The top is built with a removable panel sunroof that lets you enjoy fresh air when you're cruising out of town. One of the noteworthy features of this SUV is its wide window reminiscent of vintage Jeep releases.
Its angular rear features a pair of LED tail lamps leveled up with incandescent lighting.
Supporting this athletic automobile is a set of silver-painted aluminum wheels. The standard utilizes 17-inch wheels while the top of the line variant wears 18-inch wheels.
Jeep Renegade Interior
Inside, black dominates its spacious cabin with chrome accents. It is furnished with molded seats covered in durable fabric and high quality, smooth to touch plastic.
It is also filled with thoughtful details such as the seven-slot grille design strategically placed throughout and mud patterns in the tachometer.
Drivers will adore its angled dashboard complete with contemporary necessities. As stated earlier, it is built with a dual-pane glass sunroof made with a front sliding panel and a rear fixed panel that provides natural lighting inside.

It comes with a seven-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.
As for safety, it is equipped with six airbags, stop/start system, blind-spot monitoring, cross path detection, all-speed traction control, stability control, lane keep assist, and rear park assist system.
