So what can buyers of the Territory Sport expect from the new variant?

Exterior

Ford has given plenty to the Territory Sport in terms of styling. Making it more unique are black-colored exterior pieces including its grille, foglamp surrounds, and faux skid plate.

View this new Territory trim from the side, and one will notice a new two-tone color scheme with a black-colored roof. The latter is combined with a pair of black roof rails, black trim pieces for the power-folding side mirrors, as well as a set of black-colored alloy wheels. The Territory badging found on the rear of the vehicle is likewise colored in black.

Available color options for the Territory Sport include Crystal White Pearl, Lustrous Grey, and Panther Black.

Interior

Inside, the Territory Sport pretty much gets the same set of features as the Titanium X. Like the latter, its cockpit comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a digital gauge cluster that’s linked to the central infotainment display, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, a sunroof, and electronic adjustability for the driver’s seat, among other amenities.

The new Territory Sport trim gets a more plush-looking cabin

Added on this trim to make it stand out, is a two-tone black and white-themed cabin. This is comprised of a black-colored headliner, black and white two-tone seats, a predominantly white front cabin center elbow rest, and smatterings of contrast orange stitching.

Tech & Safety

Similar to the Titanium X, the all-new Sport trim gets a 12-inch central touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Keeping devices topped up on this ride is made easy thanks to a wireless charging pad and a variety of USB charging ports.

Safety on this vehicle is primarily handled by Ford’s Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, active parking assist, and a 360-degree view camera, among others.

New to the Sport trim is the Remote Start feature. As per its name, owners of the Territory Sport can remotely start and thus cool this crossover’s interior by way of a few button presses on the keyfob.

Engine

As with the other Philippine-spec Territory variants, the new Sport trim uses a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that can output up to 158 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Price

At launch, the 2024 Ford Territory Sport is priced at Php 1,625,000. It now stands as the Territory’s new top-spec trim.

Of note, the Territory Sport comes with the brand’s 5-Star Care Package inclusive of a 5-year free scheduled service plan, as well as a 5-year free roadside assistance service. These go on top of Ford PH’s 5-year warranty package.
