Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR) has revealed the details of the ultra-limited version of the GR Supra GT4 production race car. Dubbed the “100 Edition”, only three of these will be made and one car each will be released in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition
As per its name, the 100th Edition GR Supra GT4 is quite a special car as it celebrates the 100th Supra GT4 unit to have been delivered. The limited-edition vehicle, however, is not street-legal, so it is fully intended for track use as a beastly high-performance racer. It is based on the GR Supra GT4 EVO and at maximum, its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 can produce up to 450 horsepower. That’s 115 horsepower more than the standard GR Supra.
The rare Supra from the rear
Being based on the Supra GT4 EVO, this limited edition sports car is equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust system, natural fiber composite front and rear wings, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Note that the regular GR Supra instead uses an eight-speed automatic transmission.
A peek inside the race car
On top of the differently-tuned engine and the race-spec mechanicals, this special version also lacks a muffler for a fuller, more aggressive exhaust note. It likewise sports bespoke details like carbon fiber wing mirrors, endurance LED headlamps, a unique Plasma Orange exterior color, as well as unique badging and logos for its interior.
Gazoo Racing is then pricing the GR Supra GT “100 Edition” at 220,000 Euros before taxes and other fees. That’s around Php 13.4 million at current exchange rates and is a big jump, as expected, from the regular Philippine-spec Supra’s Php 4.990 million price tag.
Only three of these will be sold
For those unfamiliar with what the Supra GT4 is, it’s Gazoo Racing’s entry into the GT4 class of racing. This includes the North American IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, the Japanese Super Taikyu Series, the Pirelli GT4 America, the DTM Trophy in Germany, etc. Collectively, the Supra GT4 has already achieved 125 podium finishes and 43 class wins in the GT4 Class.
