Here are the best-selling Suzuki models in first 4 months in 2021

The Suzuki S-Presso contributed a lot since its debut last year.

Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH), the official distributor of Suzuki in the country, has been performing well in the automotive market in terms of sales since the start of this year. In fact, the Japanese car brand managed to rank fourth in April 2021 sales with 6,390 units sold, just trailing Ford Philippines who sold 6,562 units.

Suzuki is one of the top car brands in the local market

The achievement is brought by the brand’s economical and practical cars marketed to Filipino car buyers at a relatively affordable price. To know more about its contributors, SPH shared with us its top three best-selling models in the first quarter of 2021.

Topping SPH’s first-quarter sales is the Suzuki Ertiga with 1,544 units sold. The Suzuki Ertiga is a 7-seater MPV that caters to the mobility needs of growing families without having to break the bank. Pricing starts at Php 738,000 for the model’s GA MT variant and goes up to Php 988,000 for the GLX AT variant.

One of the most ideal family vehicles in the market

It is followed by its latest addition to its lineup, the Suzuki S-Presso with 1,204 units sold. The Suzuki S-Presso is the brand’s entry to the small hatchback segment. SPH offers it with one variant only with a price tag of Php 523,000.

The third Suzuki model on SPH’s best-selling unit in the first quarter of 2021 is the Suzuki Carry with 1,177 units sold. The Suzuki Carry is a small truck under the light commercial vehicle (LV) segment that is considered a highly efficient and reliable workhorse vehicle ideal for starting businesses.

Ranking second in SPH sales in Q1 2021

Overall, the three said Suzuki models account for 61 percent of SPH’s total sales. Aside from its vehicles, the brand has also shared that its promotions, time-limited deals, and virtual events such as the Suzuki Auto Festival helped it expand its business reach in the country.

“Despite the challenging situation, this continuous achievement that Suzuki has been reaping now is a testament of how we remain relentless in our goal to provide quality driving experience to the market. We will continue to thrive and reinforce our commitment to show more people what the Suzuki Way of Life is all about,” said SPH Vice President and General Manager for Automobile Division Keiichi Suzuki.
