Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) has been improving its after-sales services since Juan Manuel Hoyos took office earlier this year. The latest effort of the company is the Nissan Service Tablets.

The Service Tablets are used by service advisors and technicians across all authorized Nissan dealerships to aid them with their work in the after-sales department. These help to quickly determine issues and order parts and repairs, resulting in a more efficient servicing time that benefits Nissan customers.

NPI listed three ways how the Nissan Service Tablets improve the experience for customers:

The Nissan Service Tablets provide a checklist for a walk-around inspection that technicians will use to ensure all necessary parts have been checked. After completing the checklist, the technician can provide the information quickly to the customer in a more organized format.

NPI is maximizing life in the digital world with the Nissan Service Tablets as these can be used to take photos and videos of parts that need to be replaced, providing transparency between dealers and customers. Aside from that, the documentation will give a detailed explanation of the issue, as well as the procedures needed to complete the repair.

Remote Authorization

As the name suggests, customers can remotely authorize or approve recommended repairs for their vehicles through the service tablet. It also provides all the necessary information for the service including the costs, eliminating hidden charges that can be a concern especially for new car owners.

If you own a Nissan vehicle, the company encourages you to download the Nissan Assist app on your smartphone. This app provides access to various services anytime and anywhere, making the car ownership experience more convenient. It also assists non-Nissan customers with their car-buying experience as it allows them to book a Nissan test drive and request a quote from the dealership.
