The government agency will use the brand-new pair of H-100 vehicles for disaster response and management within NCR. The two will likewise function as support vehicles for the DSWD-NCR’s outreach programs.
Of note, the vehicles were formally handed over last January 25, 2024. Present during the event were HMPH President Dongwook Lee, HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete, DSWD-NCR Assistant Regional Director for Administration Benchie Gonzales, DSWD-NCR Assistant Regional Director for Operations Miriam Navarro, among others.
During the handover event, Lee recalled the brand’s switch towards becoming a mobility solutions provider back in 2019.

“When Hyundai Hyundai Motor Company shifted into a mobility solutions provider in 2019, it meant enlarging our roles as an automotive manufacturer. Since then, we have been pursuing innovative ways in which we can provide freedom of movement for the benefit of both people and the community at large,” said Lee.
“We, as Hyundai Motor Philippines, are thankful that we get to now be a part of continuing your mission as the country’s ‘compassion central.’ We look forward to our ever-reliable H-100 becoming your partner in uplifting more Filipino lives,” added Lee.
For those who want to know more about the H-100, it’s a commercial vehicle based on a light truck platform that uses a sturdy ladder-frame chassis. The ones handed over to DSWD-NCR are equipped with a shuttle body.
These H-100 units will be used as disaster response management vehicles.
Propelling this Hyundai model is a 2.5-liter CRDi diesel engine that can make up to 128 horsepower and 254 Nm of torque. It exclusively uses a six-speed manual gearbox.
Price-wise, the H-100 retails for Php 1,024,000 for the cab & chassis variant and Php 1,243,000 for the shuttle version. As standard, this commercial vehicle is packaged with a 5-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty whichever comes first.
