Keeping a business moving is important for a company to thrive. Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official Hyundai commercial vehicle distributor in the country, has an answer to that need with the HD45 GT.

Hyundai HD45 GT

The Hyundai HD45 GT is a light-duty truck that has a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 4,490 kg. Considering that the GVW is below 4,500 kg, the HD45 GT is exempted from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) truck ban. It prohibits trucks to ply certain highways such as EDSA from Monday to Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

With that being said, Hyundai’s 4-wheeler can help keep your business moving. It delivers goods using a 2.9-liter turbocharged CRDi (diesel) engine making 158 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. Drivers have to operate the truck using a 5-speed manual transmission. They can also enjoy interior features such as a generous air-conditioned cabin space, ergonomic seats, and various storage compartments.

The engine is used in the two variants of the truck, namely the medium wheelbase (MWB) and long wheelbase (LWB). You are looking at a 4,267 to 4,572 mm of loading space with the MWB, while the LWB offers you a loading space of 4,876 mm up to 5,486 mm.

One of the most notable features of the HD45 GT is the power takeoff (PTO). It is capable of powering up auxiliary equipment using the engine’s mechanical power. That said, the truck can power equipment such as hydraulic pumps, air compressors, pneumatic blowers, and vacuum pumps when needed.

The HD45 GT is exempted from the truck ban

HARI is offering the Hyundai HD45 GT at a starting price of Php 1,508,000. It is also offered a 3-year or 200,000 km warranty (whichever comes first). This can also keep your truck moving as the after-sales program can keep it in tip-top shape.
