This prestigious accolade which HMPH awards once a year, was handed over to EAG back in July 2023. During the surprise awarding ceremony, which was held at the 2023 EAG Car Expo, HPMH President Dong Wook Lee personally congratulated EAG Chairman Amando San Juan.
Other key figures present during this event were HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete, EAG Treasurer Carmen San Juan, and President of Hyundai Commonwealth Operations Atty. Anna Lynne San Juan-Ponferrada.
Of note, Hyundai Commonwealth has been around since 2004 and it has been consistent in providing high-quality service and is notable for its achievement in sales. The said dealership is likewise known for being the very first Hyundai outlet to assume the new Hyundai Global Dealership Space Identity - a makeover that gives a unified and customer-centric corporate architecture for the brand’s retailers worldwide.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition which is extra special because it is our first Dealer of the Year award from Hyundai Motor Philippines. We thank HMPH for recognizing our loyalty and commitment to the Hyundai brand. We value the support and opportunity to be working with a global brand whose main thrusts of innovation and sustainability, strongly speak to us,” said Atty. San Juan-Ponferrada

For those unfamiliar, the HMPH DOTY symbolizes the brand’s commitment to exceptional customer experience. Among Hyundai dealer partners, it is a friendly competition, but it likewise encourages striving for “above-par standards that can be trusted by Filipino customers.”
At the moment, HPHM is already evaluating the possible recipient of the 2024 DOTY. The brand says that the winner will be declared within the first quarter of the year.
