GAC M6 Pro arriving in PH early 2024 with around P1.2M starting price

GAC Motor Philippines wants to further make its presence felt next year as it plans to launch six new models including the M6 Pro seven-seater MPV. 

2024 GAC M6 Pro

Aside from the M8 luxury minivan, GAC Motor PH also previewed the M6 Pro during its year-end wrap-up celebrations held at the Peninsula Manila Hotel. The M8 luxury minivan and the M6 Pro are two of the planned six new models by GAC Motor PH in 2024. 

GAC Motor PH said that the M6 Pro, which is a refreshed and updated model of the GAC GN6, is a seven-seater MPV that offers a “frontier design, abundant space, latest security technology, and a comfortable cabin.” 

It comes with LED daytime running lights

GAC Motor PH brand head Franz Decloedt shared that the upcoming PH-spec M6 Pro will come with a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine that delivers 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. The said power unit is the same as the one fitted on other GAC vehicles such as the GS3 Emzoom subcompact crossover and Empow compact sedan. The upcoming 2024 GAC M6 Pro will feature a seven-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission.

As for the exterior features, GAC Motor PH shared that the M6 Pro will be equipped with automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, power adjust side mirrors, and a set of 18-inch wheels. 

The seven-seater MPV also comes with rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, ambient light, a panoramic sunroof, and PVC leather seats, among others. Of note, the M6 Pro’s second-row features captain seats while the third-row seats can be folded down completely, giving a flexible cargo space configuration.

The 2024 GAC M6 Pro for the Philippine market will also be equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay compatibility. Sorry, no Android Auto. It will also have a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, an eight-speaker sound system, USB ports, among others. 

In terms of safety features, GAC Motor PH’s seven-seater MPV comes with front and curtain airbags, electronic stability program, hill-start assist, hill descent control, tire pressure monitoring system, engine immobilizer, Isofix, and even a first aid kit. The car brand added that the M6 Pro will come with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). 

Reservations for the GAC M6 Pro are now open

GAC Motor PH shared that the M6 Pro will be offered in two variants: entry-level GS trim and top-spec GL. The GS trim has an indicative pricing of Php 1.2 million to Php 1.3 million. The GL variant, on the other hand, has Php 1.5 million to Php 1.6 million indicative pricing. 

The official launch of the GAC M6 Pro will be in early 2024. But, the car brand is already accepting reservations for the M6 Pro seven-seater MPV.
