Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has reinforced its entry into the seven-seater MPV segment with the introduction of the all-new 2023 BR-V. Equipped with revamped styling, an updated engine, and improved tech, the BR-V now has a better fighting chance in squaring up against its rivals.
The all-new BR-V is available in four variants, and for the first time ever HCPI is offering the said MPV with a manual transmission option. Pricing starts at Php 1,039,000 for the S MT variant, while the S CVT trim is priced at Php 1,150,00. Meanwhile, the V CVT variant comes with a sticker price of Php 1,295,000 while the top-of-the-line VX CVT retails at Php 1,390,000.
It’s also worth mentioning that the all-new BR-V now comes with Honda Sensing driver-assistive technology system, which includes adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, collision mitigation braking system, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, and lane departure warning. Although, the said tech is only available in the top-spec 2023 Honda BR-V variant.
HCPI explained during the official launch of the all-new BR-V that it has opted to offer the Honda Sensing only on the top-spec variant in order to keep the BR-V’s pricing competitive. This holds true considering that the MPV segment in the Philippines is filled with new challengers, making it a tight competition among car brands.
Speaking of which, HCPI is offering the next-generation BR-V with flexible financing payment options. Interested individuals can avail of HCPI’s 10 percent all-in downpayment offer for as low as Php 40,000 for select bank partners. Of note, HCPI’s bank partners are as follows: BPI, RCBC, China Bank Savings, and Bank of Commerce.
You can also drive home an all-new 2023 Honda BR-V by paying a monthly amortization plan as low as Php 20,150 (S MT variant) at 20 percent downpayment with a five-year payment term. Here are the flexible financing payment options offered by HCPI:
Honda BR-V Variant | SRP (PHP) | Special 10 percent all-in DP (PHP) | Low Monthly Amortization (PHP) |
1.5 S MT | 1,090,000 | 40,000 | 20,150 |

All 2023 Honda BR-V is powered by a 1.5-liter DOHC gasoline engine that delivers 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque. Only the base variant comes with a six-speed manual while the rest of the trims are equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). HCPI previously claimed that the BR-V can get a fuel economy of 24.7 km/l.
