Ford Philippines offers the next-gen Territory in two variants. The Titanium trim is priced at Php 1,335,000 while the top-spec Titanium X retails at Php 1,599,000.
The two 2023 Ford Territory variants are almost similar to one another when it comes to specs. What makes the Titanium X stand out is the addition of the following features: a hands-free power tailgate, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
The 2023 Ford Territory Titanium X also comes with exclusive features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, autonomous braking, collision mitigation, and lane keep assist.
Overall, the two Territory variants look almost the same when it comes to their exterior and interior design. It now comes with a new large hexagonal grille design as well as restyled daytime running lights. The front bumper is bolder as compared to the old Territory.
The side profile comes with a new finish as well. Prominent wheel arches can be seen, which are emphasized by the black cladding. The wheels also come with a new design. The Territory Titanium X has 19-inch wheels while the Titanium variant is fitted with an 18-inch set. The alloy wheel design of each Territory variant is also slightly different. It is also only the stark difference between the two trims as the rest of the exterior package is identical.
The rear of the new Ford Territory also gets a design update. It has a cleaner and sort of toned-down demeanor as compared to the old Territory. The LED taillights are simpler yet distinctive while the Territory emblem is placed more nicely.
Hop inside the five-seater Ford Territory and you’ll be greeted with a new cabin layout. It comes with a more straightforward cabin that offers a more organized and clutter-free dashboard. The unified screen dominated, composed of the digital instrument cluster as well as the touchscreen infotainment system, dominate the front cabin.
The 2023 Ford Territory also has seamless aircon vents, which adds to the vehicle’s clean cabin layout. Ford also bid goodbye to the lever-type gear shifter, and replaced it with an electronic knob-type shifter.
The vehicle also has leather seats with a 10-way power adjustment for the driver and a 4-way manual for the front passenger. The Titanium X kicks up a notch by having ventilated front seats.
Under the hood is the same 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine, but its power output rating has increased. It now delivers 158 hp (+17 hp) and 248 Nm of torque (+23 Nm). Aside from a more powerful output rating, the 2023 Ford Territory comes with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission as compared to the continuously variable transmission (CVT) that’s fitted to the outgoing model.
