The 2024 Jetour T2 is a mid-size SUV. It uses a body-one-frame chassis and assumes a five-door body style.
For the Philippine market, the Jetour T2 has two variants. There’s the entry-level T2 Beyond priced at Php 2,498,000, and the T2 Terrain which retails for Php 2,598,000.
Size-wise, the T2 is 4,785mm long, 2,006mm wide, and 1,880mm in height. Its wheelbase spans 2,800mm, and it has a ground clearance of 180mm.
Under the hood of the Jetour T2 is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that’s capable of outputting 251 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Launch
The Jetour T2 officially entered the Philippine market at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show. At launch, it gets two variants: the T2 Beyond priced at Php 2,498,000, and the top-spec T2 Terrain, priced at Php 2,598,000.
Exterior
Appearance-wise, the T2 gets a boxy body reminiscent of many classic SUVs. Up front, it gets a pair of automatic LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and LED front fog lamps. Below its angular grille is an equally angular but hefty front bumper.
Viewed from the side, one can see that this model comes with a pair of roof rails, power-folding and auto-adjust side mirrors, and a black-colored window line. It is likewise equipped with sturdy side steps and plenty of black-plastic claddings.
On the top-spec T2 Terrain, it gets more off-road bits like a ladder for better roof access, and a side-mounted storage box. Its rear meanwhile, gets an expansive rear door which is flanked by LED taillights.
Interior
Inside, the T2 gets a comfortable cabin with room for up to five occupants. Interior amenities found inside this SUV include power-adjustable leather seats, automatic climate control, a fully digital gauge cluster, cruise control, an electronic parking brake, and many others.
Further enhancing the insides of this SUV is a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting as well as active noise reduction.
Tech & Safety
The T2’s central infotainment display is a 10.25-inch touchscreen. This comes with wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. It also has numerous USB charging ports and a wireless smartphone charging pad. The said screen is linked to a 12-piece speaker system.
For safety, the T2 gets anti-lock braking, electronic brake-force distribution, ISOFIX child seat anchors, stability control, traction control, four airbags, tire pressure monitoring, and many others.
These are supported by adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking, among others.
Engine
The Philippine-spec Jetour T2 uses a turbocharged gasoline engine that can output 251 hp and 390 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed DCT.
For better off-road performance, the T2 gets a rear and central limited-slip differential. It also has seven driving modes, a crawl mode, wading sensors, and a 360-degree view panoramic imaging system.
Chassis
The T2 uses a McPherson strut for the front and a multi-link suspension for the rear. Braking is provided by disc brakes for all four wheels.
