The Abarth 695 is born from the collaboration between Carlo Abarth and Carlo Riva Yacht. It was built as the land equivalent of an elegant yacht combined with high-quality performance that exudes the primary definition of Italian luxury. It is a special model fully armed with state-of-the-art features, premium design elements, and innovative equipment. Among its most notable features are the Koni front and rear shocks, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a slew of safety features that altogether provide a comfortable ride. Inside, the cabin creates a refined yet sporty ambiance through a smooth, wooden dashboard and blue leather upholstery. Offered locally are two variants which are the Abarth 695 1.4 Rivale MTA hatchback and the Abarth 695 1.4 Rivale Convertible MTA. Both are powered by a 1.4-liter T-jet turbocharged gasoline engine paired with the Italian brand’s trademark MTA Sequential Robotized Automatic Transmission.
Launch
The Abarth 695 was launched during the Italian brand’s first introduction into the Philippine automotive industry in October 2018. It was released together with the 595 model, being the only two nameplates offered in the country.

Exterior
Being a special model that employs the elegance of yachts, the Abarth 695 easily stands out among a sea of cars despite its compact size. The signature horizontal two-tone body finish with Riva sera blue on the bonnet and a shark gray tone at the bottom projects a sporty yet sophisticated look. It gives the perfect combination of the design philosophies of both Carlo Abarth and Carlo Riva Yacht in an ultimately sophisticated blend. The 695 Rivale stands out with its aesthetic elements including 17-inch alloys and a full-LED lighting system.
Interior
Luxury extends to the interior decked in the finest materials. The dashboard is clad in high-grade wood which has become the main highlight of the entire cabin. It is host to the digital instrument panel that adds convenience to the driver’s cockpit. Seats come in the form of Abarth iconic sports seats that are upholstered in blue full-leather. While legroom and headroom may be quite tight, it is efficient enough for a vehicle of its segment.
Technology & Safety
Crowning the luxurious dashboard is a 7-inch touchscreen equipped with Audio Streaming through a Hi-Fi by Beats speaker system. The infotainment system can be connected to through Aux, Bluetooth, and USB. It also comes navigation ready adding to the hatchback’s convenience.
The Abarth 695 is furnished with a fleet of safety features that includes an Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Stability Control, Rear Parking Sensors, Hill Start Assist, and Tire Pressure Monitoring as standard.
Platform & Chassis
The Abarth 695 can be had in either a Hatchback or a Convertible, though both have a 3-door, 4-seater layout. Suspension comes in the form of McPherson Strut in front and Multi-Link at the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes all around. An added feature is the Koni front and rear shock absorbers that provide a more comfortable ride experience.
Engine & Drivetrain
Powering the Abarth 695 is a 1.4-liter T-jet turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 180 hp and 250 Nm of torque. It sends power to the front wheels through a MTA Sequential Robotized Automatic Transmission.
