While yes, the BR-V looks similar to the Mobilio as it shares the same platform, the BR-V is a compact crossover SUV…which is still an SUV. As such, it has SUV features like a higher ground clearance than its same-platform brothers, and it even has roof rails. Yes, it can handle more in the way of bumps than the Mobilio but don’t take it off-roading because it’s more suited to being a Bold Runabout Vehicle. A car is great for zipping through city streets.

The Honda CR-V which stands for “Comfortable Runabout Vehicle” is a larger, better equipped SUV that the model listed above. It has been around since the 90’s and its current iteration has two major variants; a seven-seater powered by a 1.6-liter turbo diesel mated to a 9-speed, and 2.0-liter gasoline paired with a 6-speed.

The Honda CR-V gets a 7 inch or 5-inch touchscreen display, hill-start assist, two 12V sockets, key-less entry, and many other convenience features. The top of the line variant has a ton of safety features like dual front airbags, curtain airbags, side airbags, knee airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, and a lane departure warning system.

The smallest of the bunch from Honda, the HR-V is a zippy little vehicle with a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine that can make 141 horsepower and 172 Nm. It sends power to the front with a CVT.

Honda HRV

Being the smaller model in Honda’s SUV lineup, the Honda HR-V can seat only up to five people but it has a decent trunk capacity of 431 L. Fold the seats and that can be expanded for a maximum of 1,665 L.

While it is small and can fit only five people, the Ecosport is a veteran of its market segment and it does have a lot of offer a small family who lives in the city.

It has two engine options, a 1.0 L turbo and a 1.5 L. The 1.5 L gasoline which is available in four variants can make 121 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque with power being sent to the front wheels by a 6-speed automatic. The 1.0 L is only available on one variant.

In comparison to the previous ones listed here, the X6 is probably the beefiest looking and is the least sedan looking crossover BMW can offer.

While the RX can be said to be Lexus’ oldest crossover SUV, the current one is also that most striking. So in short, if you find the UX and the NX too tame looking, then this vehicle is definitely the one for you.
