Being one of Porsche’s forays into SUVs after the Cayenne, the Macan is their more practical models that allow for more interior space and, being an SUV, more versatility when it comes to the kind of terrain it is able to handle.

As a result, the Macan quickly became one of the more popular models from the German company here in the Philippines and for the rest of the world.

At the front, the update didn't change much at all

As per the 2019 update, the Macan is now less slender and is now much sportier than ever before. Despite that, the SUV in question still utilizes the Volkswagen Group’s first-generation MLB modular-longitudinal architecture.

With regards to its exterior, the front now comes with a new pair of LED headlamps as well as a set of revamped air intakes. For the rear though, the changes are much more apparent with its new LED taillight strip spanning the entire rear as well as a new set of 21-inch wheels.

From any angle, the new 2020 Macan is still quite a looker

Inside, the Porsche Macan 2020 gets a lot of improvements. The 7-inch touchscreen has been replaced with a larger 11-inch unit as well as a voice control function. There’s also the return of the Sport Chrono package which gives the center of your dashboard a stopwatch.

For the new Porsche Macan Turbo variant, it gets a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 which is definitely smaller than the previous 3.6-liter mill from the previous version.

This new 2.9-liter engine makes more power at 434 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels with three available modes; sport, comfort, and off-road.
