Japanese car brand Toyota debuted the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series earlier this June with significant improvements made. With the SUV’s strong and luxurious characteristics, the Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Police, and Dubai Civil Defence decided to add the new Land Cruiser to its police fleet through Al-Futtaim Motors.

Al-Futtaim Motors is the exclusive distributor of Toyota vehicles in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under its principal company Al-Futtaim Group. The exclusive Toyota distributor has been around in the region since 1955 and is currently leading Toyota to become the top-selling car brand in the UAE.
The massive and robust proportions of the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series embedded with police badges will demand a commanding presence on the streets of the UAE. Thanks to the Land Cruiser’s new GA-F platform, the SUV is now lighter by as much as 200 kg which improves its all-around performance capabilities.
A tough SUV for a tough job
Speaking of performance, the new Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine that is capable of generating 409 hp and 650 Nm of torque. A diesel powertrain is also made available catered by the SUV’s 3.3-liter turbodiesel engine that can make 305 hp and a whopping 700 Nm of torque.
The 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser is now the latest addition to UAE’s wide array of police fleet that is admired by many people around the world. Some of the notable police vehicles that cruise around the streets of Dubai include the Nissan GT-R, Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron, Audi R8, Bentley Continental, and more.

Aside from the Dubai Police, Abu Dhabi Police, and Dubai Civil Defence, the event also held the turnover of the first 50 new Toyota Land Cruisers to civilian customers. One can expect that the Japanese full-size SUV’s name will further be known in the UAE considering that it is already one of the most popular models in the said region for the longest time.
