By being popular though, there are many other models from other brands gunning to take the top spot from the said Toyota model. These are the Suzuki Ertiga, the Mitsubishi Xpander, Geely Okavango, GAC GN6, and Maxus G50.

So, how does the Toyota Innova’s dimensions compare against its rivals?

Toyota Innova: Summary of specs

Before comparing it to its MPV competitors, let us lift off the Toyota Innova’s specifications.

For the Philippine-spec model, the Innova’s sole engine option is a 2.8-liter turbodiesel inline-4. At maximum, this mill can churn out 171 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its rear wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox, or five-speed manual transmission.

Why compare dimensions?

In the case of the MPVs listed here, they are guaranteed to provide a great amount of elbow room and legroom. But for those who want the most space, being aware of a model’s size is important. This is also important if the folks who are going to ride the said MPV are a bit wider or taller than your average Filipino. Maximizing cargo space is also easier if you have more in the way of overall size.
