As part of Geely Philippines’ aggressive dealership network expansion, the company launched another outlet in the melting pot of Central Luzon, Tarlac City. It is now one of the many dealerships under the management of the Chinese automaker’s dealer partner, the Gateway Group of Companies.

Other Geely dealerships under the Gateway Group of Companies include Parañaque and Pampanga outlets. The company also has a Geely dealership in the Visayan region with the Geely Cebu. Now, the partnership will take necessary steps in bringing the Geely brand closer to car buyers residing in Tarlac.
“We are pleased to finally open our doors to the most multicultural province in Central Luzon, of course with the help of the Gateway Group that has built several Geely outlets. We are honored by the trust and support we’ve been getting from them,” said SGAP President and CEO Yosuke Nishi.
Geely Coolray
The Geely Tarlac is a 1,000-sqm. dealership built with three service bays for after-sales services such as preventive maintenance service (PMS). It is also constructed with a showroom that can display up to five of Geely’s three models available in the Philippine lineup, namely the Coolray, Azkarra, and Okavango.
Serves as the car brand’s entry to the subcompact crossover segment, the Geely Coolray is the best-selling unit in the local lineup. Meanwhile, the Geely Azkarra is the bigger crossover model that boasts a mild hybrid system. Lastly, the Geely Okavango is the largest on the roster, offering a 7-seating configuration.
“Our growing partnership shows our seriousness in making a mark in the automotive industry and staying here for the long haul,” added Nishi.

Geely Philippines is inviting everyone to visit its new outlet in Tarlac which is located at McArthur Highway, San Sebastian, Tarlac City. The opening hours are from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Know more about Geely Coolray 2024
The Geely Coolray 2023 is a subcompact crossover. In the local market, this model has three variants with a price ranging from Php 1,083,000 to Php 1,299,000.
Under the hood of the Coolray is a 1.5-liter inline-3 turbocharged gasoline engine capable of making up to 177 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. It is then linked to a seven-speed wet-type dual clutch gearbox sending power to its front wheels.
Size-wise, the Coolray is 4,330mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,609mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,600mm.
Locally, the Coolray competes against the likes of the Toyota Raize, Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V, Chevrolet Tracker, MG ZS, among others.
