Times are changing fast. Most transactions nowadays are done online or cashless through smartphones so customers won’t have to carry a huge amount of cash. This type of payment is seen with more importance in the new normal as face-to-face transactions must be limited to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Toyota Motor Philippines introduces the myTOYOTA Wallet app
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), in partnership with Toyota Financial Services Philippines (TFSPH), adapts to that change with the introduction of the myTOYOTA Wallet app. It was first launched in Japan in 2019, followed by Thailand in 2020. The app is now available in the Philippines, with plans for global expansion.
The myTOYOTA Wallet app allows customers in the country to pay for Toyota services, including transactions such as periodic maintenance service (PMS), vehicle repairs, parts, accessories, and vehicle insurance payments. TMP plans to add more in-app features in the upcoming years.
It has an easy-to-use interface
To get started, Toyota customers only need to download the myTOYOTA Wallet app on either App Store or Google Play. Once they are in, the app will ask them to link their selected credit and debit cards (Visa or Mastercard). Up to three cards can be registered per account. Toyota customers are given as much as Php 100,000 transaction limit per month.
TMP assures its valued customers that the myTOYOTA Wallet app is protected against fraudulent transactions. It comes with security features such as point-to-point encryption, one-time password (OTP), and mobile PIN authentication. With this, Toyota customers can enjoy a safe and more convenient way of transacting with Toyota dealerships nationwide.
Toyota customers now have a more convenient payment method
To complete the online experience, TMP is encouraging its customers to download the myTOYOTA app which is available on App Store and Google Play as well. It provides a platform where customers can benefit from online features such as viewing of vehicle specifications, 360-degree model viewer, and schedule booking, among others.
