Maxus Philippines has a great idea for its birthday blowout.

Maxus Philippines recently teamed up with the country’s leading e-Commerce platform, Lazada Philippines, to provide customers with an easier and more convenient shopping of its vehicles. This was done to celebrate Maxus’ first year in the local auto market.

However, the celebration isn’t done yet as Maxus is now offering big discounts and special financing schemes across its local lineup, which includes the G10, V80, and T60. The cash discounts and financing offers will only last until July 31, 2020.

Maxus’ flagship model, the Maxus G10 MPV 1.9 AT, will now be offered with a Php 50,000 discount for a net price of only Php 1.740 million, or with the option of an all-in low down payment of Php 108,000.

The G10 boasts its spacious interior and comfort amenities that can be handy in today’s health crisis. It is powered by a Euro4 1.9-liter turbo-diesel engine that is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, the G10 features an optional PWD-friendly automated seat that can be availed for an additional Php 399,000.

On the other hand, the Maxus V80 Comfort 13-seater van is now offered with a Php 40,000 discount for a net price of Php 1.530 million, or with a Php 98,000 all-in down payment option. Under the hood, the 13-seater van is powered by a 2.5-liter turbo-diesel engine coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Lastly, the Maxus T60 is now offered with a Php 50,000 discount across all variants. The T60 4x4 AT is now offered at just Php 1.278 million, while the T60 4x2 AT at Php 1.028 million, and the T60 4x2 MT at only Php 948,000 or with a low Php 40,000 all-in down payment scheme. The pickup uses a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine that is mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Maxus Philippines introduced the Maxus G10 2024 as their entry to the minivan segment, marketed primarily towards Filipino families who frequently find themselves on the road. Maxus makes its standard MPV styling more refined to suit the evolving taste of the market when it comes to family vehicles. The G10 is equipped with dual-sliding doors, projector halogen headlights, LED taillights, and fog lamps on both front and rear. Its 9-seat configuration comes with four captain seats with electronic controls for easier adjustments. The Maxus G10 measures 5,168mm long, 1,980mm wide, and 1,928mm high on a 3,198 wheelbase.

An alternate variant of the G10 which is the G10 Assist offers a swivel seat made especially for passengers with physical disabilities. On the dashboard is a 7-inch infotainment system that provides on-board entertainment. It is also attached to the reverse cameras, an added safety feature of the vehicle. Both variants of the minivan come with 1.9-liter diesel engines paired with an automatic transmission. It produces high power outputs at low emission levels and improved fuel efficiency.

The Maxus G10 price in the Philippines is Php 1,890,000 for the standard variant, while the Assist version retails for Php 2,290,000. The lowest monthly amortization for the G10 is Php 21,575 on a 50 percent downpayment and loan contract of 60 months. The model comes in five colors: silver, gray, white, gold, and black.

The Maxus G10 sports a traditional minivan body which has been more refined with contours. Its silver front grille is framed by sleek projector halogen headlamps. Fog lamps are also incorporated in the front and rear while LED taillights complete the look. On the sides are rear sliding doors which makes it convenient for passengers to enter and step out of the vehicle. It also comes with electrically adjustable side mirrors with side turn lamps. The minivan rides on 16-inch alloys.

Inside the G10 is a spacious cabin that can accommodate up to 9 people. All seats are upholstered in a combination of leather and fabric, with four captain seats on the second and third rows. The captain seats have electronic adjustability and can be reclined based on the passenger’s preferences. The driver seat comes with a 10-way power adjustability while the front passenger gets a 4-way adjustable seat. For the G10 Assist variant, one captain seat on the second row is a swivel seat with remote control functionalities catering to passengers with special needs.

On the center of the dashboard is a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB and Bluetooth. It is connected to a 6-speaker audio system that can be controlled via remote or through an app.

The G10 and G10 Assist are equipped with cruise control, reverse parking camera, and front and rear parking sensors to ensure the safety of its passengers and the convenience of its driver. Maxus boasts of features that meet global safety standards with its integrated anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution, and brake assist. It also comes with ISOFIX child seat anchor points and 3-point seatbelts on all seats as standard.

The 9-seater minivan rides on a 4-cylinder, 16-valve turbo diesel engine. It is equipped with McPherson front suspension and 5-link coil springs at the rear. Front brakes are ventilated discs complemented by rear disc brakes. It features hydraulic power-assisted steering which makes the G10 easy to handle for its size.

Engine & Drivetrain

The Maxus G10 and G10 Assist are powered by a 1.9L Turbo Diesel Common Rail Direct Injection engine that produces a maximum of 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This minivan also comes with a manual mode that can help you maximize the engine’s capabilities. The engine is attached to a 6-speed automatic transmission with power sent exclusively to the rear wheels.

The Maxus G10 2024 is available in five colors: Black, White, Silver, Gray, and Gold.  

The Maxus G10 2024, like its rivals, is generously sized and offers ample interior space for both passengers and cargo. Although the capacity is a little on the small side, it still offers room for up to nine occupants, with the presence of four captain's chairs contributing to sizeable legroom. Despite having a smaller power unit than the 2.8-liter engine-equipped Foton Toano, the G10 still manages to somewhat match its output in terms of horsepower and torque. Maxus has equipped the G10 with a 6-speed automatic, one cog higher than what is available on the top-spec Nissan Urvan. In terms of occupant safety, the G10 has a leg up over its rivals with the presence of four airbags as well as cruise control.
