Good day and welcome to Philkotse.com. You are now browsing our list of Toyota for sale in Metro Manila by both private owners and car dealers. To view other car models made by other car manufacturers, you can use our advanced search box on the left and re-organize your search by brand, model, price range, model year, region, transmission type and even by color.
When purchasing a car from Toyota Philippines, like any other auto brands, you will be offered some dealer add-ons for your new car. While some of these might prove to be useful, some might just turn out to be a way for dealerships to earn more or some other service or part that can be done for cheap somewhere else.
So in order to aid you, Philkotse.com has compiled some dealer add-ons that you might want to pass on. Take note however that we're just guides and if you really want that add-on, that's your decision to make.
Some dealers offer to etch your new car's VIN number on one of its widow glasses. The idea behind this is it makes the vehicle a deterrent for thieves as they now have to change the window glass to sell the stolen vehicle. Several identification numbers are spread all across to car though so etching your VIN on one of your windows might be redundant.
Regardless, this service will have large mark-ups when done in the dealership. Alternatively, you can go to some other places who will do it for cheap.
When buying a vehicle, dealers will charge a lot for this add-on that is supposedly guaranteed to protect either your car's paint or the interior finish.
After-market spray cleaners and some types of DIY paint protection stuff will definitely come cheaper from an auto-parts store and by applying those yourself.
While used to great effect in Formula One, NASCAR and some other racing circuits, a regular driver won't need the pressure-stable gas preferred by racers. If you want this done for your Toyota car, many tire shops nowadays can fill your tires up with nitrogen for a cheaper price.
Usually coming in the form of a sound emitting device, the ones dealerships will try to sell you can be bought cheaper in car electronics shops. If you want to go even cheaper, you can even install these yourself.
Just like most of the aforementioned, dealerships oftentimes carry their own roof-racks that they'd want to sell to you at significant mark-ups. As such, it would be better for you to go to local car shops instead.
If you want to learn more about other add-ons available from Toyota, you might want to check our list of Toyota Philippines dealerships that you can contact and visit for yourself.
Once again, some of these might sound useful to some of you, but as we've said earlier, there are countless other ways you can get these for cheap. They also have the disadvantage of piling on the cost over the inherent cost of the car, so you might even lose track and spend more than you should have. In order to avoid that, we also have an updated Toyota Philippines price list for you to keep tabs on the latest car prices.
Thank you for using Philkotse.com and happy shopping!
