There are two engine options for the Toyota Yaris Cross. For the V and G trims, it uses a 1.5-liter combustion-only mill that can make up to 104 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque.
The top-spec S HEV meanwhile, gets a 1.5-liter hybrid mill. Its combustion-only component can produce 89 horsepower and 121 Nm of torque. Its electric motor then adds 78 horsepower, upping its total engine output to 109 horsepower.
