Recently, the all-new Kia Soul 2019 EV has been caught while being tested, revealing a closer look on its interior. In general, the ongoing model’s interior is mostly remained but the central air-conditioning vents are now merged within the trim housing at the center, housing up a tweaked central stack for infotainment controls and HVAC.

Besides, the lever for the gear selector is now replaced by a rotary dial while the steering wheel comes with new trim materials and a fresh central boss. Especially, the infotainment screen placed at the center of the cabin looks bigger than what is seen in the current model. The Kia Soul 2019 EV’s battery is also revealed, indicating a range of 437 km for a 92% charge.

The new Soul is also hoped to retain diesel and petrol powertrains - the 1.6L 201 hp T-GDI variant mated to dual-clutch transmission is an expected option.
Additionally, the upcoming Kia Soul 2019 EV is said to receive an all-wheel-drive configuration, opening up the possibility of AWD variants. The Soul EV will be surely equipped with great improvement for its battery accommodation.
