There is a big possibility about an all-wheel-drive variant for the Kia Soul 2020.

It's time to roll out the red carpet as the City of Angels sets the stage for the Kia Soul 2020's great reveal. Happening at the Los Angeles Convention Center is the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show where the Soul is making its debut from December 1 to 10, 2018.

Releasing the all-new Soul's teaser images prior to the event confirmed that the all-new Soul is ready for the market. And the teasers did work its magic and hyped both the consumers and car enthusiasts about the all too familiar iconic silhouettes and the slightly restyled vertical taillights. However, it also left a lot of people hanging as there's not much to go from, based from the released image.

Keen observers though managed to release more details via the shots acquired of the camouflaged prototype. Last February, the last time the all-new Soul was seen, confirms that it has retained its signature look.

However, the consumers are treated with a different front fascia. Despite the car being camouflaged, the Kia Soul 2020 has adopted a composite two-tier headlight design like Hyundai's Kona and Santa Fe.

As this information is all based on a camouflaged prototype, nothing is deemed final. The expectation of having some features modified can be accurately assumed, and an example of this would be the signature Kia tiger-nose grill.

This is yet to be confirmed once the final design is released. Another evidence is the presence of false body panels around the rear quarter which is a clear indication that the Kia Soul 2020 is still a work in progress.

The overall look might have surprises up to its hood, but as far as the engines are concerned, the all-new Soul will have new turbocharged powertrains. This means that there are options for turbocharged gasoline and diesel-powered motors. There is also a big possibility about an all-wheel-drive variant for the 2020 Soul.

Similar to its predecessor, the all-electric version will also be available and ready for sales in Europe by 2019.
