San Pedro City is taking public transportation to the next level.

Any metropolis aiming for progress sees public transportation as an essential part of development. The city of San Pedro in Laguna, through the San Pedro Transport Cooperative (SPTC), will now benefit from modern alternatives to mass transit as it partners with Foton Motor Philippines.

Foton turnover

Foton GMA Cavite officials turn over 20 F-Jeepney F29 units to the San Pedro Transport Cooperative

The automaker recently provided a fleet of its F-Jeepney F29 model to the SPTC, comprising 20 units. These jeepneys were turned over by Foton GMA Cavite/Zoomhub Inc., led by its President Willy Tee Ten, to officials of the SPTC., as witnessed by San Pedro City Mayor Lourdes Catáquiz.

With seating up to 29 occupants, the Foton F-Jeepney F29 packs a number of tech amenities designed to elevate the passenger experience with every commute.

A large LED overhead monitor patched to multiple speakers provides riders with onboard entertainment on their journeys, as well as displaying the route. It also comes with its own Wi-Fi hotspot for commuters who want to stay connected even while on the go.
