As the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is officially making its return this April, Subaru Philippines is set to bring back world-renowned stunt driver and Guinness World Record holder Russ Swift to perform his thrilling stunt show.
Russ Swift returns to 2022 MIAS
Russ Swift will be showing the capabilities of the all-new Subaru BRZ, which will make its Philippine debut at the upcoming auto show. The Japanese sports car now boasts more power as compared to the outgoing model thanks to its new and larger 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated boxer-4 engine, making 228 horsepower and 249 Nm of torque.
Also participating at the stunt show are the new Subaru Forester and WRX sedan. That said, the event will see the introduction of the facelifted Forester as well.

Spectators can expect to see the said Subaru models performing the Swift Parking stunt, J-turns, donuts, and dance routines. Depending on the safety protocols, Subaru Philippines could allow spectators to ride with Russ Swift while he does his thing.
The upcoming stunt show will mark Russ Swift’s 14th MIAS event. He had performed in various parts of the country including Cebu and Davao, making him a well-known personality, especially in the Filipino car community. His shows were just put on pause due to the pandemic.
“Motor Image Subaru is happy to have the return of Guinness World Record driver Russ Swift at MIAS to bring thrills, excitement, and smiles to Subaru’s Filipino fans once again,” said Tan Chong International Limited Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Glenn Tan.
