The 2022 Subaru BRZ
As a refresher, the all-new BRZ comes with several improvements like a larger and stronger 2.4-liter boxer engine capable of making 228 horsepower and 249 Nm of torque. It will still come with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
Moreover, it now has a longer wheelbase, and the suspension system is now made up of an updated MacPherson strut for the front and a double-wishbone suspension for the rear. It also now gets a rear limited-slip differential as standard.
Prior to its official release, Subaru Philippines also revealed the pricing for the all-new BRZ on its official website. Specifically, the one with the manual gearbox has a standard retail price of Php 2,399,000. The automatic transmission version meanwhile is a bit pricier at Php 2,499,000.
The updated Forester will also make an appearance at the 2022 MIAS
Subaru Philippines has already opened up the reservation books for the upcoming BRZ back in December last year. For that matter, it was reported that the first unit allocation for the said model has already been sold out. The company assured though that more batches are coming for the local market.
Going back to 2022 MIAS, Subaru Philippines is also launching the updated Forester at the said event. To clarify, this is the facelifted Forester for the model year 2022. We also had a prior report about this stating that several units are already in the Philippines, and some are already on display at several Subaru dealerships.
The famous British stunt driver, Russ Swift, will also make an appearance at the upcoming 2022 MIAS. He’s ready to wow the crowd with his precision driving, and there’s no doubt that he’ll be doing this again behind the wheel of a Subie.
