Nissan PH offers Almera with P5.7K monthly payment this month

Nissan Philippines has extended its “Safer Drives and Deals” promo that provides flexible payment schemes on its vehicles including the Almera. The Japanese marque made the extended promo available in all Nissan dealerships nationwide until December 31, 2020.

With the “Safer Drives and Deals” promo, the Nissan Almera is available with a Php 5,769 monthly amortization for 60 months for the base 1.2 MT variant.

The sportier-looking N-Sport AT variant is offered Php 8,078 monthly amortization for 60 months. And for those who want the top-of-the-line Almera, the 1.5L VL variant comes with Php 8,117 monthly amortization for 60 months. All the said deals are available through Eastwest Bank.

The Almera is Nissan’s entry to the local subcompact crossover segment. It offers great attributes such as practicality and affordability that is essential especially for first-time car buyers. The Nissan Almera comes with a relatively spacious cabin and wide cargo compartment despite belonging in the b-segment sedan.

Under the hood, the Nissan Almera is offered with two engine options. The first engine option is a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 78 hp and 106 Nm of torque. This engine uses a 5-speed manual transmission and is available only for the base variant.

The second engine option is a larger 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine available on the N-Sport, E, N, and V variants. This engine can make 98 hp and 134 Nm of torque and is paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic transmission.

Nissan Almera

The Nissan Almera is a four-door compact sedan. For the Philippine market, its three available variants have a price ranging from Php 839,000 to Php 1,149,000. 

Size-wise, all trims are 1,740mm wide and 1,460mm tall. The top-spec VL meanwhile, is 4,530mm long, while the VE and EL are 4,495mm long. All three get a ground clearance of 135mm, and a wheelbase length of 2,620mm. 

Under the hood of the Philippine-spec Almera is a 1.0-liter turbocharged inline-3 gasoline engine that can make up to 99 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The three-banger is then paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) sending power to its front wheels for the VL and VE. The EL meanwhile, uses a five-speed manual gearbox.  

Locally, the Nissan Almera competes against the Toyota Vios, Mitsubishi Mirage G4, Honda City, MG 5, Volkswagen Santana, Geely Emgrand, Hyundai Reina, Kia Soluto, etc.
