The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 2020 is expected to be sold in the Indian market in 2021.

The 8th-gen Land Cruiser has been pampered to undergo two times of modification since its launch in 2007. The 8th generation will be possibly halted its production by the end of this decade.

So now, the Japanese carmaker starts preparing for its ninth-gen Toyota Land Cruiser 2020, which is currently reported by the Japanese media.

Next-gen Toyota Land Cruiser Eighth-gen Coming in Mid-2020 with New Frame

The new car is still a full-size SUV as its predecessor but with a new ladder-frame chassis. It is expected to measure a length of 4,590 mm, a width of 1,980 mm and a height of 1,920 mm with a bold wheelbase measuring 2,850 mm.

According to the latest car news, the next-gen model will not be powered by the V8 engine as the previous model. Instead of that, it will be armed with a V6 petrol-electric (hybrid) and a V6 turbocharged petrol powertrains.

In detail, the Land Cruiser 2020 will receive a 3.5L twin-turbo V35A-FTS V6 petrol engine which is also seen in the Lexus LS. The engine is capable of cranking out 416 hp and 600 Nm of torque, works in a conjunction with a ten-speed automatic gearbox.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 2020 is expected to go on sale in the Indian market in the first half of 2021.
