Select Toyota Wigo variants see price bump for 2023

Only the top-spec trim was spared from the price increase.

Toyota Motor Philippines has increased the prices of the Toyota Wigo small hatchback. To be more exact, three out of the four available trims have seen a price change as per the official Toyota PH website.

For your convenience, here is a table comparing the old prices and the new prices of the Toyota Wigo:

As you can see on the table above, sticker prices for the manual variants of the Wigo E and G were raised by Php 5,000. Meanwhile, the G AT saw a Php 10,000 price bump. The only trim that didn’t see a price update was the top-of-the-line Toyota Wigo TRD S AT.

Do note also that the Toyota Wigo for 2023 in the Philippine market is yet to see a new update. For that matter, it still carries the specs and features of the 2020 release.

That said, the price changes might be linked to a variety of factors such as increasing inflation rates. Just like the recent price updates from Mitsubishi Philippines though, Toyota is yet to announce a statement about this.

Toyota Wigo 2024

The 2023 Toyota Wigo is a subcompact hatchback. For the Philippine market, its refreshed model gets three different variants: the Wigo J MT, Wigo E CVT, and Wigo G CVT. Prices for these trims range from Php 609,000 to Php 729,000.

Size-wise, the next-gen Wigo is 3,760mm long, 1,665mm wide, and 1,515mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,525mm.

Under the hood of the Wigo is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine that can produce up to 66 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque. It uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 5-speed manual gearbox depending on the trim.

Locally, the Toyota Wigo competes against the Honda Brio, Mitsubishi Mirage Hatchback, Suzuki Celerio, Suzuki Swift, etc.
