Hilux model range gets price increase due to added tech features.

Toyota Motor Philippines has once again updated one of its best-selling vehicles, the Hilux pickup truck. This comes after the announcement of integrating added tech features to the seven-seater Fortuner SUV.

Toyota has equipped additional features to the Hilux that intends to further improve the overall driving and passenger experience. In a report by Top Gear PH, the Hilux G and E variants now get reverse cameras, which will be useful when parking the pickup truck. The reverse camera will enable the driver to better squeeze the Hilux into tight parking spaces in the city. 

Aside from the reverse camera, the Hilux G now has dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic view monitor, and hood-lift assist. The said additional features also find their way into the Hilux Conquest variants.

The said updates come with a corresponding price increase with the Hilux 4x4 Conquest variants getting an additional Php 45,000. The G variants, on the other hand, comes with a Php 30,000 price adjustment while the E trim has Php 22,000 price bump. The prices of the entry-level J variant remain the same. Here’s the updated Hilux price Philippines in 2021:

As stated earlier, Toyota PH has also integrated added tech features to the Fortuner. Among the updates given to the midsize SUV is dual-zone front climate control for the Q and LTD Fortuner variants. The LTD trim also gets a power tailgate with a bumper-mounted sensor, which enables you to open the rear hatch through a kicking motion. The Fortuner LTD now also comes with rear USB Type-C charging ports.

The Toyota Hilux 2024 is a midsize pickup offered in the local market as both fleet and regular units. It is also available in two turbodiesel engine options and four gearbox choices, accompanied by eight exterior colors.
