The Suzuki Vitara 2018 facelift might feature subtle changes in terms of style and technology.

The recently surfaced spy shots of a partially-camouflaged Vitara have given car enthusiasts a hint of a near-production Suzuki Vitara 2018 facelift version. Prior to this, the crossover has already been caught while testing on the roads in March and August last year. According to these images, the facelifted Vitara might receive subtle changes in terms of exterior design and technology updates.

The refreshed Vitara might receive additional technology features

Although the front fascia was wearing heavy camo, we can still hope for a redesigned grille, a revised front bumper and maybe new set of headlights. At the rear, the vehicle also has lots of concealment. It seems that the Korean marque wanted to make sure the Vitara’s quarter panels, rear bumper and tail lamps were completely under cover. However, there is possibly a restyled rear bumper and tailgate and a more smoothly-shaped quarter panels allowing better airflow for this mid-cycle refresh.

The updated Vitara will likely be offered with the same 1.6L gasoline and D16AA diesel engine options

While it is likely that the inside won’t receive any major updates, we still expect to see a mildly refined dashboard and some additional features for the infotainment and the safety system.

The Suzuki Vitara 2018 facelift could be carried over with the same powertrain options of its current offering which is equipped with a 1.6L gasoline and a D16AA diesel engine. Power is transferred to the road via either a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission. While front-wheel drive comes as standard, all-wheel drive is offered as an option.
