Price and specs for the Toyota Hilux Conquest 2018 are also unveiled.

Recently, some photos of the Toyota Hilux 2018 facelift spotted in the Philippines have surfaced online, suggesting the official launch of the refreshed version is drawing near. And now, Philkotse.com has gathered some more information about the top-spec Hilux named Conquest.

Official launch of the new Hilux is expected to take place next month

The Toyota Hilux Conquest 2018 is offered with two engine options. The first one is a 2.4L 2GD-FTV engine which is capable of producing 150 PS and 400 Nm of torque (343 Nm if connected to a manual transmission). Meanwhile, the 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV engine is claimed to push out 177 PS and 450 Nm of torque (420 Nm when mated to a manual gearbox). Both turbo-diesel mills can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a new 6-speed automatic gearbox.

  • Tacoma-inspired front grille;
  • Black-painted side mirrors, sports bars and door handles;
  • Redesigned lower air intake and fog lamp bezels
  • All-new rear and side step board.

Moving on to the interior, the new top-of-the-line Hilux also sees the introduction of revised Optitron gauges, refreshed automatic gear shifter, and new smart entry with keyless start.

The Toyota Hilux 2024 is a midsize pickup offered in the local market as both fleet and regular units.
