2020 Mitsubishi Xpander Cross Philippines: Specs, Features, and Pricing Overview

So how will Mitsubishi Philippines have the Xpander Cross in their lineup?

Well basically, this new model will be replacing the top of the line variant of the Mitsubishi Xpander, the Xpander GLS Sport.

Once the Xpander Cross is available, the latter in turn will no longer be available. There is however a significant price difference between this new variant and the old top of the line variant.

Let’s compare their prices.

That’s because the new variant does come with some goodies that any SUV/MPV user will appreciate; Its ground clearance is 20 mm higher than a normal Xpander, and like the outgoing variant, it’s got a bunch of useful safety features like a hill-start assist, and traction control.

The Xpander Cross also has a fancier set of 17-inch wheels.

Other things that set the all-new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross apart from vanilla Xpander variants are several exterior parts like a faux skid plate, a slightly different looking rear bumper, a blacked-out grille, and of course, it’s also slightly taller, longer and slightly heavier.

The interior looks just about the same. Still, premium-looking, still fancy

Under the hood, however, the Xpander Cross will still use the good old 1.5-liter MIVEC DOHC engine which can make up to 103 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque.

It will also use the same four-speed automatic gearbox and the same suspension set-up.

Are you convinced that this Mitsubishi Xpander 2020 will do well in the Philippines? Do you think that its price is worth it?
