Geely Coolray SE gets up to P30,000 price increase 

As of February 2023, the Geely Coolray SE crossover’s standard retail price (SRP) has been bumped up. Note that new prices of Geely Coolray are shown on the official Geely Philippines official website.

For your convenience, here’s a table detailing the price changes of the Geely Coolray SE: 

As detailed by the table above, the Coolray SE Comfort gets an additional Php 10,000 on its price tag. The Coolray SE Premium meanwhile, gets a price increase of Php 20,000. The Coolray SE Sport gets the most significant price increase at Php 30,000. 

Besides the Coolray SE, other Geely models saw a price increase as well. These include the Okavango Comfort entry-level variant and the Azkarra.

For both the Azkarra Luxury and the Okavango Comfort, their increase in price is set at Php 20,000. Both are positioned higher in the market as larger, more premium vehicles than the Coolray SE, but their price increases are relatively slimmer compared to the Coolray SE Sport.  

Note that the increase in price for the said models comes after the Geely PH 2022 sales report. Remember also that the said report likewise indicated that Geely Coolray saw a 36 percent increase year-on-year in sales. That’s equivalent to 4,370 Coolray units sold.    

The Okavango Urban and Urban Plus were spared from the price increase

This means that despite its success in the local market, we suspect that it was still affected by the usual factors connected to price changes. Chief among these is the climbing inflation rate. Geely, on the other hand, is yet to release a statement regarding the price bump. 

The only Geely model that didn’t see a price increase for all of its variants is the Emgrand Sedan. Likewise spared from the price updates are the Okavanga Urban and Urban Plus variants.
