Typhoon Ulysses affected many Filipinos due to the destruction it has brought to the country. Many parts of the metro got submerged in floodwater, which resulted in damaged properties that include flooded cars.
With that, Ford Philippines decided to lend a helping hand by providing a special discount of 20-percent on selected parts as well as on labor. Ford hopes that this will help customers get their Ford vehicles up and running once again. Of note, Honda Cars Phlippines, Inc. has also launched a similar program that offers discounted parts for Honda owners that got affected by the typhoon Ulysses.
The Ford Mustang
Ford Philippines clarified that only those Ford vehicles that were bought from an authorized Ford dealer will be eligible for the special discount. Ford PH says the 20-percent discount is not valid for parts that are sold over-the-counter. The company clarified that the coverage of the discount covers customer-paid parts and labor only. program discounts are not convertible to cash.
“We recognize that the recent typhoon has caused damage to vehicles especially in areas affected by heavy rains and flooding. At Ford, we want to extend assistance to our customers with special discounts on parts and labor to make the repair more convenient for them,” said PK Umashankar, president and managing director of Ford Philippines.
