Ford recently launched the Ford EcoSport 2018 facelift for Europe.

In the Philippines, the Ford EcoSport is among our best buddies on the street, along with the Ranger and the Everest. For the June performance, this crossover SUV recorded a whopping 15% increase in sales to 984 vehicles.

But instead of resting on its laurels, the American auto manufacturer is getting much better at what they do. The company has just revealed online its Ford EcoSport 2018 for the Europe market. The all-new Ford EcoSport isn’t just bolder in general styling but packs a wealth of modern, efficient technology.

The styling, for example, comes with a more substantial rear bumper, refreshed headlights and the high-mounted trapezoidal grille. For the first time ever, you can even personalize this crossover SUV with contrasting painted roof. What’s more, the side mirrors painted a different color is also available.

Concerning interior, passengers will be treated to features and amenities like the SYNC 3 system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a B&O Play sound system, 6.5-inch or 8-inch touchscreen, 7 airbags, roll stability control, and blind spot information system. Being a city-slicker for Filipino drivers, the European EcoSport 2018 also get more intelligent configurations and more excellent storage options to help support its occupants’ everyday activities and manage their hectic lifestyle.

The largest difference for the Ford EcoSport 2018, however, is the Ford’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. In mid-2018, the new SUV will be powered by a 1.5-liter EcoBlue oil-burner that puts out 123hp and a 1.0-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine that produces 99hp. Plus, customers can even order the European SUV in the sporty ST-Line variant, thanks to some delicate adjustments by Ford Performance.

The refreshed Ford EcoSport 2018 is scheduled to go on sale in the European market later this year.

<p>The Ford EcoSport belongs to the best-selling subcompact crossovers in the Philippines, which acquired its major redesign in August 2018. It is best known for its flexibility, a sleeker exterior, and a new option for its engine that can compete within the Philippine market with greater range. A floating display screen measuring 8 inches is equipped with Ford&#39;s SYNC 3, which is available in the Titanium variant. It is the most apparent feature in the cabin of the Ford EcoSport. Ford Philippines offers the Ford EcoSport is available in four trims: 1.5 Ambiente MT as the base variant, 1.5 Trend MT, 1.5 Trend AT, and the 1.0 Eco-Boost Titanium AT. The advantages of the top-of-the-line Titanium variant includes an automatic start and stop engine system and six airbags. Ford EcoSport is now offered in two engine options. Ford kept the 1.5L Inline 4-Cylinder Ti-VCT petrol power plant but with improved performance. It now produces 121 horsepower and torque power of 1150 Nm. The other engine option is the smaller 1.0L Turbocharged Eco-Boost engine. It can generate 123 horsepower and torque power of 170 Nm. Furthermore, aside from the current five-speed manual gearbox, there is a new six-speed conventional A/T as well.</p>
