Chevrolet PH rolls out P325K cash discount for Trax

Drive home a new subcompact crossover.

The Covenant Car Company. Inc. (TCCCI), the official distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the country, is offering the ‘Drive Home a Chevy’ promo which provides time-limited deals on some of its vehicles. One of which includes the brand’s entry to the subcompact crossover segment, the Chevrolet Trax.

Promo will last until the end of June

Under the said promo, TCCI is offering the 2019 Chevrolet Trax LT AT variant with a cash discount of Php 325,000. The said vehicle is also offered with an all-in low down payment of Php 98,000, and a free preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) for two years.

The 2019 Trax LS AT is also offered with a cash discount of Php 250,000 and Php 78,000 all-in low down payment. Of note, this vehicle also comes with a free 2-year PMS.

Aside from the Trax with a 2019 model year, TCCI is also offering deals for the 2020 models of its subcompact crossover. As such, the 2020 Trax LS AT comes with a Php 150,000 price cut and Php 98,000 down payment deal. The 2020 Trax LT AT, on the other hand, is offered with a Php 175,000 cash discount, and Php 138,000 low down payment.

Moreover, TCCCI is offering the sportier-looking variant called Trax Premier with a deal of Php 200,000 off and Php 128,000 low DP for the LS variant, and Php 275,000 cash discount and Php 148,000 down payment for the LT variant.

The LS variant is the model’s base variant, while the LT is its flagship variant. Regardless of the variant, the subcompact crossover is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec gasoline engine capable of generating 140 hp and 200 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission with active manual mode.

Furthermore, the ‘Drive Home a Chevy’ promo is also offering flexible payment schemes and cash discounts on Chevrolet’s other vehicles such as the Spark, Colorado, and Trailblazer. See the full list of deals under the same promo below.

Take note that the ‘Drive Home a Chevy’ promo will be valid until June 30, 2021. The warranty coverage of the Trax, Spark, Sail, and Malibu is five years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. Meanwhile, a three-year plus a two-year extended warranty for the powertrain or 100,000 km, whichever comes first, is included for the Trailblazer and Colorado.

Chevrolet Trax 2024

The Chevrolet Trax is a compact crossover. In the Philippines, its three variants are the LT priced at Php 1,793,888, Redline priced at Php 1,866,888, and the top-spec RS which retails at Php 1,948,888.

All three trims of the Trax use a 1.2-liter inline-3 turbocharged gasoline engine that’s capable of producing up to 137 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The Trax is 4,537mm long, 2,035mm wide, and 1,560mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,700mm and a ground clearance of 186mm.

Locally, the Trax competes against the Kia Seltos, Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan Kicks, Mazda CX-30, Honda HR-V, etc.
