Chery Auto Philippines, under the distributorship of United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), announced that it is fast-tracking its dealer expansion plan for this year. A total of 28 dealerships is expected to be operational to close 2021, exceeding the Chinese automaker's original target of 22 dealerships.
Chery Auto Philippines is on the move this year
The upcoming dealerships from Chery Philippines set to open before the end of the year include in Fairview, Quezon City; Commonwealth, Quezon City; Pasay City; Bacolor, Pampanga; Subic, Zambales; Calasiao, Pangasinan; Lipa, Batangas; Gorordo, Cebu; and Kauswagan, Cagayan De Oro. These dealerships are aimed to be added to the car brand’s 19-strong dealerships nationwide.
“A strong and accessible dealer network has been one of the brand’s top priorities from the start. We have excellent products from and the fastest way to get them to market and into people’s awareness is by bringing the product to them, wherever they are,” said Chery Auto PH/UAAGI President Rommel Sytin.
Chery Tiggo 2 subcompact crossover
All Chery dealerships will be growing the brand’s lineup of crossovers only starting from the entry-level Chery Tiggo 2 subcompact crossover to the most premium 7-seater Chery Tiggo 8 midsize crossover. They will also offer industry-leading after-sales programs such as its 10-year engine warranty and free preventive maintenance service (PMS) for three years.

We will continue to be aggressive in terms of providing fun, fresh, and practical driving experiences, as well as bringing both state-of-the-art automobiles and dealerships closer to our customers,” concluded Sytin.

Apart from dealer expansions, Chery Auto Philippines has also landed multiple endorsements with big names to broaden its business network in the country. Some of which include actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga, players of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers volleyball team, and Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin.

There's also a two-tone trim which has a price tag of ₱1,280,000. Powering this vehicle is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine capable of generating 145 horsepower and 210 Nm of torque. As standard, the engine is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
