Debuting first in 2016, the Maxus T60 finally arrives in the local market this year. This is the brand’s third model in the Philippines and is set to compete against the likes of Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, and Ford Ranger.
The Maxus T60 can take charge in both personal and business means at an affordable price point. The upsized dimensions of the T60 ultimately lead to bigger and heavier capabilities, in terms of payload capacity, towing power, and water wading depth, and in real-world applications.

Maxus T60 Pickup Launch
Under the hood, the Maxus T60 is powered by the Euro 4-rated 2.8-liter diesel engine with Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) and intercooler mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, generating maximum power of 150 hp at 3,400 rpm and 360Nm of torque at 1,600-2,800 rpm.
The engine power and efficiency can be further managed by selecting either the Economy or Power Drive Modes.
The Maxus T60’s exterior design is complemented by standard exterior features such as automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear fog lamps, electric outside rearview mirror and side step boards, 17-inch alloy wheel, rear bed liner, and LED headlights with automatic leveling function and LED daytime running lights for the 4x4 variant.

The interior is comfortable and convenient, with the touchscreen monitor with Apple CarPlay and Mirrorlink, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, keyless entry, and 6-way driver 4-way passenger seat adjust. The spacious cabin even comes with a separate aircon rear vent for the back passengers.
The T60 Elite 4x4 comes with additional interior amenities such as leather seats, power driver seat, push start button, 10-inch touchscreen and 6-speaker infotainment system, and auto air-conditioning.
As for safety, the Maxus T60 2020 is the first Chinese-manufactured utility pickup truck to score 5 stars on the ANCAP safety rating with an overall score of 35.46 out of 37. Here are the standard safety features made available on the Maxus T60:

The Maxus T60 is one of the few models in the pickup segment with a 5-year warranty (or 100,000 km, whichever comes first). Moreover, the aftersales services are set to the "maximum" with a periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule of the first 5,000 km and every succeeding 15,000 km or once a year, whichever comes first.
This is more convenient and more cost-efficient compared to the industry-standard 5,000-km PMS interval. Maxus Philippines also offers a 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for customers.
The Maxus T60 is 5,365mm long, 2,145mm wide, and 1,809mm high.
All Maxus T60 variants are still offered at introductory prices: T60 Pro 4x2 MT (P948,000), T60 Pro 4x2 AT (P1,028,000), and T60 Elite 4x4 AT (P1,278,000). These prices are P50,000 off the regular SRPs.
