Despite the unfortunate closure of the Honda factory in Laguna in March 2020, HCPI still continues to strive for excellence – not only for the sake of its own company but also for our frontliners and the country.
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile business unit in the Philippines, responded to this matter by lending out 15 cars to medical frontliners in Laguna and Cavite. Medical workers will now have an easier and faster way of arriving at their workplaces.

Medical frontliners at Carmona Hospital thanking Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.
The cars HCPI lent to doctors and nurses consists of the Honda City, Honda Brio, Honda Jazz, Honda Mobilio, BR-V, HR-V, and CR-V models. The hospitals in Laguna that were given these Honda cars are the following:
- The New Sinai MDI Hospital in Tagapo, Santa Rosa, Laguna
- The Medical City South Luzon in Santa Rosa, Laguna
- Unihealth-Southwoods Hospital and Medical Center in Biñan, Laguna
- Westlake Medical Center in San Pedro, Laguna
- The Carmona Hospital and Medical Center in Carmona, Cavite
To even further enhance this initiative, Honda Cars Philippines decided to provide free gasoline for all 15 cars good for one month.
We are glad to see many car brands in the country to provide any sort of help or relief effort to our frontliners. Suzuki, Isuzu, and Ford Philippines decided to provide transport services in aid to fight the COVID-19.
Moreover, Toyota lent 47 units of its units which include a combination of Toyota Vios, Rush, Hiace, Innova, Fortuner, and other models to local government units and hospitals.
