Here’s a rundown of the Coolray’s maintenance cost.

The Geely Coolray is one of the vehicles in the local market that had a good sales performance last year. This five-seater subcompact crossover managed to deliver notable sales figures that further established the Geely brand in the Philippines. 

To put things in perspective, the Geely Coolray posted 205 units sold last October 2020. Aside from that, the Coolray posted a total of 263 units sold in July 2020, which translates to a 59 percent increase as compared to its numbers in June 2020. With that in mind, the Coolray can be considered as one of the popular vehicles in the Philippine market.

Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely vehicles in the country, is offering the Coolray in three variants with a starting price of Php 978,000. The mid variant of the Coolray is priced at Php 1,088,000 while the top-spec Coolray Sport comes with a sticker price of Php 1,198,000.

Maintenance cost for Parts and Labor

Geely PH shared the cost of the Coolray’s periodic maintenance service (PMS) for every 10,000 km, which covers parts and labor. Of note, the first 1,000 km is free of charge. You start shelling out payment for the PMS when you hit the 10,000 km mark, which is at Php 6,150. Then, the maintenance cost for the 20,000 km mark comes with a relative price increase, which is at Php 10,399.50. The cost goes down once you have the Coolray serviced for the 30,000 km mark, which comes at Php 7,033. Overall, the maintenance cost for the first one and a half year of ownership is Php 23,522.50.

By the time you reach the 40,000 km mark, the maintenance cost for parts and labor is at Php 13,504.50. Then, it will go down again during the 50,000 km PMS, which is at Php 6,150. The most costly PMS service will be on the 120,000 km interval, which is at Php 15,806.50.

Geely Coolray

The Coolray is a subcompact crossover that marked the return of Chinese automotive juggernaut Geely to the Philippine market. This model comes in three variants which are the Comfort Turbo, the Premium Turbo, and the Sport Turbo. Physically, all variants are the same size at 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,609 mm tall. The engine across all variants is a 1.5 liter 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline with a power output of 177 hp and 255 Nm of torque. It also features LED daytime running lights and headlights for the top-of-the-line Sport variant. The Coolray’s cabin is decked in black and accented with red design details on the dashboard and the seats. It also comes with 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment that sits at the center of the car.
